Environmental analysis

A healthy environment is essential for the well-being of humans. Hettich has now introduced an environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001 so that it meets its obligations as a manufacturer with respect to the environment and to human health. Hettich further meets the requirements of OHSAS 18001, so ensuring a high level of occupational safety for its employees. 

Our products are not just manufactured in a way that has a low impact on the environment and is safe, our centrifuges, for instance, are used within tests in the course of measures to protect the environment. An example of such a measure to protect bodies of water and treat contaminated water is the Water Framework Directive (2000/60/EC).
